Don Amour - Sold

(Don Frederic/San Amour)

Oldenburg

"Premium" colt born 25 March, 2013

Color: Chestnut with two white stockings behind.

Height: Expected to reach 17.2-17.3 hands

Location: Germany

We are thrilled with this EXCEPTIONAL first colt by our St. Pr. mare Prime Time. Don Amour’s conformation is excellent, his movements stunning, and his temperament is friendly and outgoing.

At the competitive foal inspection in Muehlen, leading German Oldenburg judges awarded him the “premium” title and selected him as “Siegerfohlen” (top foal) of the 12 Don Frederic offspring shown, landing him a feature role in a video of impressions of that day.

In addition, Don Amour was chosen for Schockemoehle’s 2013 A.O.S Auction, one of the most selective foal auctions in Germany, where he will be for sale!!!

Don Amour’s sire Don Frederic was the champion at the 2011 Mecklenburg stallion licensing based on his conformation, gaits, engagement of hindquarters, and elasticity.  He also received the highest score of 9.75 for rideability at his 30-day test in 2012.   Don Frederic is by the accomplished producer Don Frederico, out of a successful Hanoverian mare line. Video of Don Frederic.

Don Amour’s dam Prime Time earned her St. Pr. title based on receiving scores consisting almost exclusively of 8.5s and 8s which also resulted in her being selected for the prestigious 2012 Rastede mare show.  Prime Time’s mother and grandmother have produced several premium stallions.

Don Amour – a future dressage star in the making!  Enjoy the photos and video further below …

Despite being 18 years of age, Sandro Hit's breeding record is still absolutely outstanding. Year after year he produces first-rate offspring, such as 2010 National Riding Horse Champion San Doncisco, who sold for a sensational EUR 580,000 to Austria. Numerous approved sons, including several champion stallions, 120 state premium mares, eleven Bundeschampions and numerous top auction horses such as licensing champion Soliman de Hus - who sold for EUR 700,000 - are all proof of Sandro Hit's exceptional breeding qualities. In 2009, Starlight sold for EUR 170,000 and in the same year, twelve-times Grand Prix winner Sancisco OLD received the VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year award. Two-times Bundeschampion Poetin still holds the all-time auction price record of EUR 2.5 million. His foals are always in high demand and sell for impressive prices at auction. Via his sons and grandsons, Sandro Hit has founded an extensive and very successful stallion dynasty. Video of Sandro Hit.
