South Ridge Bliss is a gorgeous buckskin, remarkably talented, and especially versatile, registered purebred Connemara pony, with successful show and jumper ponies on both sides of her pedigree.

She has produced not one, but two, fillies that have participated in the USEF National Young Horse Championships!!! Both placed among the top five year old dressage horses in the country, one in 2010 and the other in 2015, outcompeting imported warmbloods. To the best of our knowledge these are the only not fully warmblood horses to participate in these prestigious championships. Fancy This is currently competing at I-1 and training many of the GP movements, Fifinella is training at 2/3 Level.

Bliss is not only a proven producer but also a very productive one, with 7 foals in 8 breeding years!

Bliss, herself, has high quality dressage gaits, is an outstanding jumper (with flying lead changes), and loves to go on trail rides. She also has excellent ground manners, loads, clips, bathes, etc.

Bliss is exceptionally smart. This allowed her to seamlessly transition from being a broodmare for eight years to a riding pony, after we purchased her from Garner Creek Farm in 2011. At the same time, this also means she will take advantage of riders who do not have sufficient experience or confidence.

Bliss has been 100% healthy over the four years we have owned her. Tested N/N for HWSD.

Bliss is only for sale because our son is outgrowing her, we are selling the filly for whom she has been a super baby sitter, and our farm is too small to add her as a broodmare. Given her quality and the fact that she is an outstanding producer, we would like to see her return to a breeding career.

“Rising Star” – South Ridge Bliss’ 2012 filly by Romancero H in 2015 (Owner/Rider Jenna Bender) Owner tells us that she has already declined numerous offers to sell this promising young eventer and that a 4* event rider from Britain informed her she would be “stupid to ever sell her” :-).
