(Damsey/San Amour)

"Premium" colt born 27 May, 2015

Color: Bay with white blaze and two white stockings behind.

Height: Expected to reach 17 hands

Location: Germany

We are thrilled with another OUTSTANDING colt by our St. Pr. mare Prime Time.  D’Amour’s conformation is perfect as far as we can tell, his movements are excellent including an exceptional walk (rare these days), and his temperament is friendly and outgoing.

D’Amour’s sire Damsey was awarded the prestigious FRH suffix in light of his achievements. He is competing at Grand Prix and in the top 1% of all German dressage sires. Damsey is highly regarded for his temperament and movements (such as 9s for his walk and piaffe).  Damsey has sired many talented offspring including licensed stallions and mare show winners.  Video of Damsey

Don Amour’s dam Prime Time earned her St. Pr. title based on receiving scores consisting almost exclusively of 8.5s and 8s which also resulted in her being selected for the prestigious 2012 Rastede mare show.  Prime Time’s mother and grandmother have produced several premium stallions and successful sporthorses.

D’Amour’s half-brother by Don Frederic, Don Amour, sold to a well-known German stallion station as a stallion prospect and we are confident that D’Amour is also a future dressage star in the making!

Damsey was a premium stallion at the hannoverian licensing under saddle, finished his 30-day-test in Adelheidsdorf in 2005 with the ridibility top score of 9,25 and was the  champion at the danish stallion licensing 2006 and 2009 in Herning. After a winning series in young horses dressage classes and two time finalist of the Bundeschampionat he was nominated for the World breeding dressage championships in Verden 2008 . In 2009 and 2010 he won Prix St.Georges and advanced level dressage classes. In 2011 he placed himself in final of the Nürnberger Burg Pokal and in 2012 in final of the Louisdor price.

In 2013 Damsey FRH was awarded the suffix FRH, because he is at the present one of the most effective advertiser of Hanoverian breeding.

The 2010 Hanoverian Stallion book records that Donnerhall has had 986 dressage competitors (212 at advanced level) – and even 94 in the jumping ring – for total prizemoney of €1,978,764. The most successful of these progeny has been the mare, Donatha S, who has won €159,512 followed by Don Schufro with winnings of €109,257. Donnerhall has an FN dressage ranking of 151, jumping, 79. His Hanoverian ranking is 158 for dressage and 74 for jumping. He is the sire of 48(!) licensed sons. Indeed there are those, like the trainer Jo Hinnemann, who believe that it is the second and third generations of Donnerhalls that will produce the goods: Video of Donnerhall.

San Amour

Main premium champion San Amour is an exorbitant mover with perfect contours plus an uphill conformation, dynamic paces and an elegant, light action. He was the most coveted stallion at his licensing in 2006, selling at auction for the record price of EUR 450,000. His dressage index at the performance test was also the highest in his group at 137.4. He was awarded 9.5 for rideability and he qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf with ease. Sandro Hit

An exceptional and pioneering modern dressage breeding stallion

Despite being 18 years of age, Sandro Hit's breeding record is still absolutely outstanding. Year after year he produces first-rate offspring, such as 2010 National Riding Horse Champion San Doncisco, who sold for a sensational EUR 580,000 to Austria. Numerous approved sons, including several champion stallions, 120 state premium mares, eleven Bundeschampions and numerous top auction horses such as licensing champion Soliman de Hus - who sold for EUR 700,000 - are all proof of Sandro Hit's exceptional breeding qualities. In 2009, Starlight sold for EUR 170,000 and in the same year, twelve-times Grand Prix winner Sancisco OLD received the VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year award. Two-times Bundeschampion Poetin still holds the all-time auction price record of EUR 2.5 million. His foals are always in high demand and sell for impressive prices at auction. Via his sons and grandsons, Sandro Hit has founded an extensive and very successful stallion dynasty. Video of Sandro Hit.

Rouletto is best known for his breathtaking movement. His offspring exemplify his elastic movement, and are popular in the Vechta auctions. He has also presented premium mares in Oldenburg and Hannover: 90% of his foals have been awarded foal premiums by the Oldenburg Association! He already has several licensed sons and daughters which have excelled at their mare performance tests particularly because of their high rideability.
